Construction Update 08-30-19

Park District

Cold formed metal framing is completed on the 4th floor and concrete has been poured on the 5th floor deck southern ½. The 5th floor Northern ½, decking is finishing up by E.O.W and is scheduled for concrete placement on Wednesday (9/4) (weather permitting). The South core is completed up to level 9, the north core is completed to level 8. Under ground plumbing rough in is nearly complete and inspection has been scheduled.

LBWL has removed the (1) southernmost power pole and work is underway to set new poles to reroute the overhead lines to allow removal of the remaining poles. Closure of Albert Ave. is still tentative for early September.

At the Graduate Hotel, concrete has been poured on the 5th floor of the main elevator core, the 1st floor of stair two core and the south half of the slab on grade. Post tension tables arrived on Tuesday and the work has started to form the post tension level 2 deck on the south half of the building. Work continues on the slab on grade moving north, with that slab on grade scheduled to be poured out by end of next week. Rockford is also working very closely with LBWL on the power pole relocation and the transformers for the building located on the north side.

Center City

The 12 story Landmark building is complete and had a successful final move in weekend and welcome week. Go Green!

The 10 story Albert Ave. building has finishes in various stages on the upper floors. The outside amenity deck concrete is complete with final touches of landscaping in progress. Exterior skin is nearing completion in the next week with balcony installation following close behind. The parking deck is open and accessible to the public. Work on Albert Ave. continues while all paving and hardscapes are substantially completed. Landscaping, planters and tree installation is mostly complete. Tenant spaces on the ground level are progressing with various general contractors completing this work. Albert Ave. will begin opening back up in phases, come see the new tenants in the upcoming weeks!

The Hub @ East Lansing

The TCO has been issued for the amenity deck. Once the water main project in the alley is completed, the alley, along with the parking lot, will be paved.
