Construction Update 2-1-18

As February begins, the auger cast piles are nearing completion. More pile caps are being installed and the most visible progress continues as columns and stairwell walls are going up. A tower crane base has been set in anticipation of vertical work to come.

Truck traffic near the site continues as materials (especially concrete) and equipment are transported to and from the site. City staff is monitoring area roadways to ensure proper cleanup occurs, especially as weather changes can cause muddy conditions that need to be managed properly. The construction company also continues to examine the site to mitigate any impacts to the local community.
