Construction Update April 1, 2022

We anticipate recommencing on the precast installation on Wednesday, April 6, starting with the west tower. The west tower is expected the be complete by mid-April. The north precast wall erection will follow and will be erected in unison with the center section of structural steel. Steel beams have been erected up to the roof level on the east third of the building. We are currently working on installing steel decking on the seventh floor and roof level. Steel erection will be complete by the end of May 2022. The fire suppression contractor has completed installing a fire suppression system standpipe in the east stair shaft. The mechanical contractor is currently on-site working on layout and installing hangers for the first floor overhead mechanical and plumbing.

The lane closures on Abbot Ave. and Albert Ave. will remain in effect for the foreseeable future. The south access to the alley off Albert Ave. will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for the duration of overhead work to help ensure safety. The alley is accessible from the north.
