Construction Update 09-13-19
Park District
The Abbot
At the Abbot, the contractor is currently working on the L6 deck. The work should be completely finished and poured out early next week. The north and south cores, L9-L10, will pour next week as well. Underground plumbing and electrical piping are currently being installed. Framing will begin soon on the interior walls and the masonry contractor will be mobilizing next week.
The Graduate Hotel
This week at the Graduate two lifts were poured on the main core which brought it up to level 8. The north slab on grade pour will take place on 9/16. Work continues on the post tension level 2 deck (south half). The south half will be ready to pour at the end of next week. The Board of Water & Light is scheduled to set transformer pads at the end of next week and will continue to work on removing the northeast pole.
Center City
The 12 story Landmark Building is complete.
Finishes continue to wrap up on the 10 story Albert Ave. building. Working is wrapping up on the outside amenity deck. The parking deck is open and accessible to the public. Work on Albert Ave. continues while all paving and hardscapes are substantially completed. Tenant spaces on the ground level are progressing with various general contractors completing this work. Fosters Coffee will be holding their grand opening on September 20. Albert Ave. is mostly opened back up for pedestrians and will be for two way traffic shortly.
The Hub @ East Lansing
Work continues on the water main project in the alley. Once it is completed, the alley, along with the parking lot, will be paved.
