AT&T Alley Work

An AT&T project to install Fiber Optic cable is planned to occur starting late tonight (04/03). The work tonight will largely occur within the Center City project site. If the approach tonight is successful, the work will involve a brief after hours closure of the alley between Mackerel Sky and Twichell’s Cleaners on the west side of M.A.C. Ave., as workers will need to safely access the manhole there to pull the cable.

If this approach is not successful, a partial alley closure will be necessary to allow for pavement removal to install a new conduit. Pedestrian access to all businesses will be maintained from the alley and along M.A.C Ave. The map below includes details of the partial closure is attached. City Staff has visited with businesses affected by the alley work to coordinate access, parking, and other items.
