Construction Update 3-2-18

This week more vertical progress took place with stairwell and elevator shaft walls being poured, more columns going up, and a ramp up of other activities taking place on site. Underground plumbing and electrical work is underway, just as the last of the auger cast piles are being finished.

Truck traffic (especially concrete) continues to be expected at the site. With the fluctuations in the weather causing a potentially muddy situation, the construction company is actively cleaning up the area on a regular basis. City staff is monitoring area roadways and ensuring that cleanup is managed properly. The construction company also continues to examine the site to mitigate any impacts to the local community.
