Construction Update 1-5-2018

The Center City construction continues even with the frigid temperatures. In spite of the cold, over 120 pilings have been completed thus far, with many more planned in the coming weeks. Installing the foundations for the buildings will continue to be the focus of the project for a number of weeks.

5 informational/marketing banners have been created and placed around the project area. The banners are designed to highlight that businesses downtown are open during the construction period, and to help direct people to easy parking locations listed online at www.EastLansingBuzz.org. Additional downtown signage, banners, and marketing is being implemented in the near future.
